Unbearable Openers and Avoiding Graboids
Welcome to Role Scene
[Mentally designing a football-focused Honey Heist adventure starring Beary Sanders, Walter Pawton, Farshall Maulk, and Jim Brownbear cause that’s what I do in my free time, I think of koalaty puns.]

What I’m Playing
Tremors (1990) LINK
I don’t remember how I found this one-page RPG but the moment I read it I knew I had to play it. It’s possible I’m missing something on read through, but there were some gaps and confusions on how to handle certain situations in the rules. I made up my own rules where I thought I needed them and the play-through was mostly smooth.
Without a doubt the most fun for the players came from:
Choosing 90’s names. The 16 total citizens includes Wayne, Garth, Cher, Dionne, Tai
Choosing 90’s common items. Items included a slap bracelet, slinky, and Skip-It
Coming up with absurd reasons why their common items are able to save them from doom.

Wish List / Waiting To Play
I purchased a number of zines from Plus One Exp and can’t wait for them to arrive.
I purchased Grant Howitt’s 5 volumes of one page games and I am thrilled to dive into it. Do I dare fantasize about playing ALL of them with my Wednesday night group for the next 65 weeks? Yes. LINK
I don’t typically get excited about solo RPGs but there’s something about One Break Left that has its hooks in me. I’m anxiously awaiting the reprint planned for later this year. It should be said, I’m a sucker for space exploration. LINK
